He then began travelling to far-flung destinations to film and photograph wondrous interactions between humans and animals, during which time he did not publicly show his films or exhibit his photographs. Since 1992, he has launched more than 40 expeditions to such places as India, Burma, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Dominica, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tonga, Namibia, and Antarctica.
